Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think this game would end up on DVD someday!
I just happened to come across this by accident!
I was one of few UK fans who stayed up past midnight to watch the eventual stunning upset of LSU by the hands of UK- lead by Travis Ford, Walter McCardy, Gimel Martinez, Tony Delk & Jeff Brassow (among others).
Not only did I watch that entire game (I can't believe I never once turned the channel!),
I actually recorded it...on VHS. That's how big of a geek I was back in the day :)
I've still got that tape in a box somewhere....
I can easily add this dvd to my wish list so I can relive those incredible moments again!

The negative comment I have is the audio which was very low and not crisp. I ended up watching the game on the Mardi Gras Miracle Special on the DVD where the video and audio were great. The radio broadcast was a nice addition to the DVD release and probably will remain as the greatest comback ever. Even to be down 9 points with only 2:30 minutes in the game was incredible in iteself. But when you shoot the threes like that, you always have a chance. Hats off to LSU's Clarence Caesar who had one of the best first halfs in a game I have seen.

If you're looking at this DVD, then you probably already know the story of the Mardi Gras Miracle! The game featuring the greatest second half comeback in college basketball history is all here, together with an interview with then-coach Rick Pitino that sheds a lot of light on events as they unfolded. It's a great disk, and every UK fan should own it!
